About the Digital Archive

This webpage is a compilation of various resources from the New York Public Library, the Roosevelt Public Library and other relevant sources to create an accessible digital collection/archive to support research connected to Black history and culture for library patrons.

This digital collection will help students, educators, and library patrons locate reliable materials for research related to Black history, culture, literature, and heritage.

This collection was curated by fayola f. and Thais G., two librarians-in-training, completing their MLIS through the Teacher2Librarian Program at Syracuse University.
